Nestled in northern Colorado, Estes Park serves as the gateway to the Rocky Mountain National Park, a haven for wildlife such as elk and bears, and a network of expansive trails. In 2013, Colorado faced a catastrophic 1,000-year flood, causing extensive damage to properties, highways, and river channels. As a hub for over 5 million visitors each summer, Estes Park's proximity to the Rocky Mountain National Park makes it a global tourist destination. In response to this disaster, Oxbow played a pivotal role as one of the primary contractors, successfully completing 11 comprehensive river restoration projects within the town and along the access routes to the Park.

Managing the intricacies of executing numerous projects simultaneously, especially amidst the challenges posed by peak tourist seasons and significant runoff periods, was a formidable task. Despite these obstacles, Oxbow delivered all projects on schedule and within budget, solidifying our reputation for excellence in flood recovery efforts in Estes Park.
